Treading Lightly on our Planet
The Club recognises that sound environmental practice is a key responsibility of leaders in the community.
Through effective management, by learning from other and applying all that we know we will minimise our damage to the environment.

Club, staff and members
To achieve this, the Club and its staff and members will:

• Build a foundation of compliance with all relevant laws and all corporate commitments.
• Establish and apply procedures to ensure effective implementation of this policy.
• Provide adequate environmental training and guidance to our employees.
• Instil a culture of continuous improvement through setting and reviewing targets and reporting on environmental performance.
• Provide equipment and facilities that limit potential environmental damage.
• Ensure all clients using our equipment and facilities follow the principles for their use.

Staff and members
We expect our employees and contractors to

• Comply with this Environmental policy and all procedures related to this policy.
• Provide suggestions for improved environmental performance.
• Identify and address environmental concerns through open and honest consultation with Club members.
