Over 100 Forestville juniors ranging from Under 10's to Under 16's participated in the SportsPower January Clinics.

The Eltham Basketball Tournament is a huge competition which this year involved 956 teams (around 9000 players), making it one of the largest annual junior basketball events in the world.
Forestville had 3 teams travel to Melbourne over the weekend for the event

Forestville would like to extend our sympathies and well wishes to the family and friends of Andrew "AJ" Malan, who passed away suddenly last week at the age of 21.

Basketball SA would like to invite all interested athletes to attend the trials for the 2012 SA Metro Under 16 Men’s and Women’s state teams.

Have you assessed a specific weakness in your game that requires some extra attention?
Are you seeking additional training sessions that address ball handling, shooting, post move, defensive footwork issues?

The Club is looking at the possibility of running an Annual Ball at Wayville on Saturday April 28^th.  This would be a family event, with a band and be held on court one.  We are seeking help from any parent that has connections with a hire company to supply some or all of the equipment needed including;

•  Tables and Chairs,
• Dance Floor (to protect the court),
• Stage,
• Some Partitions (to block of the other courts)
• Sound System.
