What is Domestic Basketball?
Domestic Basketball is a fun, inclusive competition run by the Southern Districts Junior Basketball League (SDJBL), where players represent the Forestville Eagles in weekly team games.
It’s ideal for players moving from training into regular team competition, and is the most common entry point after completing Aussie Hoops or Mini 3agles.
Domestic is open to all skill levels, with a focus on development, fun, and teamwork.
What to Expect
One training session per week (60 minutes)
Weekly Saturday afternoon games
Games held at local venues including Wayville, Marion, Mitchell Park, and Morphett Vale
Players grouped based on age, skill, and friendship preferences where possible
No tryouts required – everyone gets to play!
Season Structure
Summer Season: Terms 4 & 1
Winter Season: Terms 2 & 3
Games typically run on Saturday afternoons between 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
No games scheduled on long weekends or during mid-school holidays
Training sessions are held at local venues throughout the week
Club Uniforms
Players will need an official Forestville Eagles uniform to participate in games. Uniforms can be purchased through our Uniform Shop located at Wayville Sports Centre: 142 Rose Terrace, Wayville.
